Genealogy and Preservation Center at the Library
The Montgomery County Genealogical and Historical Society is proud to partner with the Genealogy and Preservation Center at the Montgomery County Memorial Library System - Central Library. The Genealogy & Preservation Center, located on the second floor of the Central Library in Conroe, is a premier local resource for family history research and preservation support.

The Center was established in 1976 and has grown into one of the largest genealogy research centers in Texas, with tens of thousands of physical items, multiple genealogy databases, and extensive map collections available for researchers.
